North of U.S. Route 60 in Republic, Beginning Tuesday, May 26, for up to 90 Days
Where: In Republic
- Stone Creek Drive CLOSED between U.S. Route 60 and Stone Falls Road
- Stone Falls Road CLOSED between Commercial Avenue and the Break Time entrance
When: Beginning Tuesday, May 26, for up to 90 days
What: Contractor crews will be CLOSING Stone Creek Drive and a section of Stone Fall Road for work on the future Greene County Route MM connection to Farm Road 103. This work is part of the Greene County Route MM Realignment Project.
Traffic Impacts:
- Stone Creek Drive CLOSED between U.S. Route 60 and Stone Falls Road
- Stone Falls Road CLOSED between Commercial Avenue and the Break Time entrance
- Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either end of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone
- No signed detours. Drivers urged to find alternate routes.
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.
Project Information:
- Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, February 16
- Contractor: Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., Columbia
- The estimated project cost is $22.7 million
- The project is scheduled for completion by May 2028
