ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Guardrail work will narrow a ramp near downtown St. Joseph tomorrow. Crews from Capital Paving and Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, are improving conditions at several ramps in the area. As part of their work, they will be working on guardrail just south of the ramp from U.S. Route 36 eastbound to Interstate 229 southbound. To safely perform work near the shoulder of the highway, crews will narrow the roadway to 16 feet. Motorists should expect delays and any vehicles and loads wider than 16 feet must use an alternate route.
As always, planned work is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change.
MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
