SIKESTON—Northbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as construction crews perform bridge maintenance on Bloomfield Road overpass.
This section of roadway is located from mile marker 95.4 to mile marker 95.6 in Cape Girardeau.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, May 29 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
