SIKESTON—Route 142 in Ripley County will be closed as contractor crews replace the Harris Creek Bridge.
This section of roadway is located between Route E and Route N.
Weather permitting, work will begin at 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 26 with completion anticipated Monday, Sept. 21. This road will remain closed until the work is complete.
The work zone will be marked with signs, and a marked detour will be in place. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
