Overnight lane closures on I-49 near Grandview/Belton for pavement repair, May 15-16

JACKSON & CASS COUNTIES – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting overnight lane closures along the Interstate 49 corridor near Grandview and Belton from Friday, May 15 at approximately 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 for pavement repair.

Scheduled lane closures:

  • Two left lanes closed on I-49 northbound north of Missouri Route 150
  • Left lane closed on I-49 northbound approximately 1.5 miles south of North Cass Pkwy (mile marker 171)

All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
