JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be conducting overnight lane closures on Interstate 435 and on Route W (Bannister Rd.) from Thursday, May 14 at approximately 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Friday, May 15 for pavement repair work.
Scheduled lane closures:
- Two lanes closed on I-435 SB past Bannister Rd. (northern bridge over Marion Park Dr.)
- One lane closed on I-435 SB past Bannister Rd. (southern bridge over Marion Park Dr.)
- Lane closures on Bannister Rd. at Lydia Ave; no left turn access into or out of Lydia Ave.
All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
