JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct various closures on I-670 near the Holmes bridge in Kansas City for bridge work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:
Saturday, May 9 at 5 a.m. until Saturday, May 9 at 8:00 p.m.
- Crew will CLOSE westbound I-670 starting at Prospect Ave. leading to the WB I-70/670 split
- Crews will close the ramp from WB I-670 to 13th Street
- Crews will close the ramp from NB 71 to WB I-670 will be closed.
- Crews will close ramp from WB I-670 to Locust
Saturday, May 9 at 5 a.m. until Sunday, May 10 at 10 p.m.
- Crews will close the ramp from SB 71/I-35 to WB I-670
Saturday, May 9th at 8 p.m. until Sunday, May 10 at 10 p.m.
- Crews will CLOSE eastbound I-670 at starting at 18th St. leading up to the I-70/670 split (Kansas)
- Crews will close the ramp to EB I-670 at the I-70/670 split (Kansas)
- Crews will close the ramp from Central Ave. to EB I-670 (Kansas)
- Crews will close the ramp from Genesee/Wyoming to EB I-670
- Crews will close the ramp from SB I-35 to EB I-670
- Crews will start their closure of the right two lanes on NB I-35 starting at W Pennway up to Broadway
- The exit from NB I-35 to Broadway will still be open to traffic
- Crews will close the ramp from NB I-35 to EB I-670
- Crews will close the ramp from Broadway to EB I-670
- Crews will close the ramp from McGee & Truman to EB I-670
Eastbound traffic on I-70 will be directed to the north side of the downtown loop to access I-35 and US-71 and I-70
