JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct overnight closures on Missouri Route 291 in Sugar Creek for guardrail repair. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:
Tuesday May 5 between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m.
- Crews will close northbound MO 291 at Courtney Road
- Crews will close the right lane on northbound MO 291 at the 291 River Bridge
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
