UPDATE: Route MM in Franklin County Reopen Today

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. — The good news just got better for drivers in and around Route MM in Franklin County. Closed since last summer, Route MM is open to traffic today, following the completion of final work by contractors.

During the closure, crews completed a series of roadway and bridge improvements near the Union Pacific Railroad bridge. The project included construction of a retaining wall, curve widening, installation of a box culvert, shoulder widening, and resurfacing along the route.

The reopening marks the completion of the primary construction work for the project, improving safety and driving conditions for motorists in the area.
