Ramp closures on MO 291, U.S. 50, and I-470 for lighting work in Jackson County, TOMORROW

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting lighting work on MO 291, U.S. 50, and I-470 resulting in various ramp closures. All work is weather permitting. See below for modifications:

Thur., April 23 between approx. 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

  • Crews will CLOSE the northbound MO 291 ramp to MO 150
  • Crews will CLOSE the eastbound U.S. 50 ramp to MO 150
  • Crews will CLOSE the MO 150 ramp to eastbound U.S. 50
  • Crews will CLOSE the 83rd St. ramp to northbound 470

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
