Missouri Route 5 resurfacing project in Putnam and Sullivan counties to begin April 27

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will resurface Missouri Route 5 in Putnam and Sullivan counties from U.S. Route 136 east of Unionville to Missouri Route 6 north of Milan beginning Monday, April 27.

Traffic Impacts: Route 5 will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car and flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. Motorists should expect delays.

The project is scheduled to be completed in late July.
