SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on April 8.
- A $2,744,662 contract was awarded to Lappe Cement Finishing, Inc., for adding J-Turns on route 67 at Routes A and C in Madison County.
- A $580,822 contract was awarded to Gerstner Electric, Inc., for signal improvements at various locations throughout the Southeast District.
- A $1,937,887 contract was awarded to Iowa Civil Contracting, Inc., for pavement reconstruction on northbound Interstate 57 from Big Lake Bayou to the Mississippi River in Mississippi County.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
