TRAFFIC ALERT: Ramp and lane closures on I-70 in Jackson County for lighting work, April 7-9

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will CLOSE ramps and lanes at various locations on I-70 for lighting work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Tuesday, April 7 between 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

  • Crews will conduct lane closures on the ramp from MO F in Oak Grove to westbound I-70.

Wednesday, April 8 between 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

  • Crews will conduct lane closures on the ramp from southbound I-435 to westbound I-70.

Wednesday, April 8 between 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp from Manchester to westbound I-70.

Thursday, April 9 between 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp from Manchester to eastbound I-70.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
