Bridge rehab on NB/SB I-635 over MO River in Platte County, ONGOING - early May

PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing a bridge rehabilitation, resulting in various traffic modifications, on northbound/southbound Interstate 635 over the Missouri River. Motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting.

Traffic modifications below, ONGOING – early May

Work will be taking place underneath the bridge from the bridge deck and the substructure 

  • Right lane on I-635 NB CLOSED, NOW – Mid April.
  • Right lane on I -635 SB intermittently closed.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
