The Missouri Department of Transportation Kansas City (MoDOT KC) will hold an open house style meeting to discuss the upcoming 291 River Bridge Design-Build Project. The project will include replacement of the northbound bridge and rehabilitation of the southbound bridge. The northbound bridge has been in use since 1949 and while safe, it is scheduled to be replaced to meet current design standards. The southbound bridge was built in 2001 and is scheduled for improvements. This project will address the condition of the northbound bridge and provide maintenance on the southbound bridge.

The Missouri Department of Transportation invites you to an upcoming public information meeting to learn more about traffic impacts associated with the upcoming design-build project.

The public meeting will be held Thursday, April 9 at the Mike Onka Memorial Building, 11520 Putnam Street, Sugar Creek, MO 64054. It will be an open-house meeting with no formal presentation. You can stop by the meeting anytime between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. to ask questions and learn more about the project.
