SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a one contract for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on Nov. 2.
A $6,862,066 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC., Van Buren, Mo., for improvements to Route 63 in Howell County.
The project includes pavement widening to four lanes and the addition of six foot shoulders on Route 63 from Route 160 to just southeast of Route ZZ in West Plains, Mo. Additionally, signal upgrades will be completed at the Lanton Road intersection.
