Nightly lane closures for resurfacing on I-435 in Clay County, March 23-May 31

CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting nightly lane closures for resurfacing operations on Missouri Route 435 at the locations below.  All work is weather permitting.

See traffic modifications below:

  • Various lane closures including Ramps on Northbound and Southbound Missouri Route 435 from 69 Highway to the Missouri River beginning on Monday, March 23 until May 31, 2026. Work will take place between 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning.  Expected delays in this area.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
