FRANKLIN COUNTY -- Motorists who travel eastbound Interstate 44 should be aware of an upcoming exit closure on that route. Later today, crews will close the eastbound I-44 exit to the Missouri Department of Transportation rest area site, between Sullivan and St. Clair.
Crews will close the eastbound exit, near mile marker 235.2 today, for reconstruction of the rest area. The closure will be in place until further notice.
