Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects

SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on March 4.

  • An $11,150,329 contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., for widening the roadway, adding a center turn lane and constructing a roundabout at Notre Dame Drive on Route K in Cape Girardeau County.
  • A $2,531,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for the following:
    • Resurfacing Route 34 from Route 21 to near the Wayne County line in Reynolds County, and;
    • Resurfacing and adding shoulders on Route D from .5 miles north of County Road 123 to Business 60 in Carter County.
