SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on April 6. Awarded contracts included rest area conversion to truck parking and pavement improvements.
Projects awarded include:
- A $134,944 contract was awarded to Lappe Cement Finishing, Inc., Perryville, Mo., for conversion of the northbound Marston Rest Area to Commercial Vehicle Parking. The project includes converting the northbound rest area to truck parking only.
- A $2,137,298 contract was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC, Troy, Mo., for improvements on Route 25 in Stoddard County. The project includes resurfacing approximately 18 miles of Route 25 in Stoddard County. Improvements will extend from north of Route U to Route 53 near Holcomb, Mo.
- A $1,312,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, LLC, St. Louis, Mo., for improvements on Route 25 in Cape Girardeau County. The project includes resurfacing approximately 16 miles of Route 25 in Cape Girardeau County. Improvements will extend from the Diversion Channel Bridge to Route O in Advance, Mo.
