One lane of I-70 to close next week at Kingdom City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – For the safety of the traveling public and workers, one lane of Interstate 70 in Kingdom City is expected to close next week for bridge work. Construction crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to reduce I-70 to one lane in each direction at mile marker 148 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily Feb. 24 through 26, 2026, to remove the forms used in the construction of the new bridges.

Drivers are reminded to slow down and pay attention in work zones. Buckle Up. Phone Down.
