ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Louis-Company, LLC, to complete a bridge deck replacement project on three bridges in Grundy and Linn counties. The Linn County Route U bridge over Long Branch, northwest of Bucklin, originally scheduled to begin on Monday, Feb. 23, has been delayed until Monday, March 2, due to contractor schedule changes.
Traffic Impacts: The Route U bridge will be closed beginning March 2 through early May. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure.
Listed below are two other bridges included in this project with new estimated start dates:
- Linn County Route B over Parsons Creek, west of Linneus, scheduled to begin May 4.
- Grundy County Route E over the Medicine Creek Drainage Ditch, east of Laredo, scheduled to begin July 22.
