PLATTE COUNTY – Permit work for Verizon overhead cable crossing the mainline for utility operations will take place on Missouri Route 9 just east of Riverway Blvd. on Wednesday, February 11 from 8:30 am until 11:00 am. The City of Riverside will assist with traffic control for temporary rolling stops along MO-9 for approx. 15 minutes at a time. Motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
