CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting a lane closure on Missouri Route 291 northbound at Sherman Road for signal upgrades and the installation of a new right turn lane beginning on Monday, Feb. 2 until Friday, Feb. 27 from approximately 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM daily. Traffic will be shifted in order to allow motorists to travel through the area. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris form the roadway.
