JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri officials are set to reveal new crash data marking a positive milestone in the fight against traffic deaths. The Missouri Department of Transportation, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and other safety partners will host events across the state to share this important update. Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe will speak at the Jefferson City event.
The events will reveal preliminary end-of-year fatality numbers for 2025 and discuss what those figures mean for Missouri’s ongoing efforts to improve highway safety. Officials will also highlight ongoing strategies to reduce traffic fatalities in the state, with the ultimate goal of zero roadway fatalities in Missouri.
