JACKSON COUNTY– The Missouri Department of Transportation will be hosting an online comment period starting at 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15 until 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, regarding ADA improvements at various locations in Jackson County. MoDOT will replace curb ramps and sidewalks that do not meet ADA standards along with crosswalk markings. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
