HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Adair County
Missouri Route 149 – December 1 – 5, CLOSED for shoulder work between Route D and Mallard Road near Novinger between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Lincoln County
Route UU – December 1 - 2, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Quade Road to Logan Road near Silex between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Route UU – December 9, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Logan Road to Rt Z near Silex between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route UU – December 10, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Straube Road to Logan Road near Silex between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route UU - December 11, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Duncan Mansion Road to Quade Road near Silex between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Macon County
Route C – December 8 - 10, CLOSED for railroad maintenance from South Linn Street to Elvira Street in Bevier beginning Monday, December 8th at 6:00 a.m. and continuing to Wednesday, December 10th at 4:00 p.m.
Marion County
I-72 Westbound – December 4, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from I-72 westbound on Mississippi River bridge to Mark Twain Avenue exit ramp between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Montgomery County
Missouri Route 19 – December 8 – 9, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route Y to Little Bear Creek Road between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.
