Crawford County Route J now open after bridge replacement project

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Boone Creek Bridge on Crawford County Route J is now open following the completion of a bridge replacement project. In late August, contractor crews from Don Schnieders Excavating Company, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, began the project to replace the 75-year-old narrow and weight-limited bridge with a new structure. 

Crews were able to reopen the bridge to all traffic today, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025.
