Upcoming Bridge Rehab Project on Route MM over Harviell Ditch in Butler County

SIKESTON—The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to rehabilitate the Route MM bridge over Harviell Ditch in Butler County. The bridge is located just west of County Road 355, northwest of Neelyville, Missouri.

Work could begin as early as July 2026. The roadway will be closed in the vicinity of the bridge as construction is underway. The rehabilitation work will be underway for approximately two months.

Previously, this project was scoped as a replacement. Reassessment of utility impacts and the condition of the bridge allowed MoDOT to update the scope of the project from a bridge replacement to a rehabilitation project (deck replacement).

Maps, plans, and other information prepared by MoDOT will be available for public inspection and copying at MoDOT’s Sikeston District office, 2675 N. Main St. in Sikeston, Missouri.
