Eastbound I-70 exit and lane temporarily closed in Columbia

Bridge work near mile marker 128

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Bridge work just west of the Connector in Columbia has closed the eastbound Interstate 70 exit ramp to U.S. Route 63 (Exit 128) as well as the driving (right) lane at mile marker 128.8. Construction crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation expect the exit and lane to reopen by 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Drivers traveling in Columbia on eastbound I-70 should consider alternate routes. Motorists are encouraged to give themselves extra time to travel through this area as backups are expected.

Slow down and pay attention in work zones. Buckle Up. Phone Down.
