PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will CLOSE the Interstate 29 northbound flyover ramp to NW 120th St. westbound, the main flyover entrance into the Kansas City International Airport, starting Tuesday, November. 18 at 10:00 PM until Wednesday, November 19 at 4:00 AM for signage inspection. Motorist traveling to the airport on I-29 NB are encouraged to use an alternative route. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
