LAFAYETTE COUNTY – Permit work for utility operations will require traffic modifications on Interstate 70 near the Lafayette County Routes M and O interchange (Exit 41) on Sunday, Nov. 16, from approximately 7 a.m. until 12 p.m. Motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting.
Traffic Modifications:
- Rolling stops on I-70 eastbound from Johnson Dr. in Odessa
- Rolling stops on I-70 westbound from Missouri Highway 13
- Left lane closed on I-70 eastbound near the Lafayette County Routes O & M interchange (Exit 41)
- Left lane closed on I-70 westbound near the Lafayette County Routes O & M interchange (Exit 41)
- I-70 on-ramps closed at the Lafayette County Routes O & M interchange (Exit 41)
- I-70 on-ramps closed at the Lafayette County Route H interchange (Exit 45)
- Flagging operations on the outer roads
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
