Lane and ramp closure on WB I-670/Holmes St. in Jackson County for barrier work, Nov. 22 - December

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct a ramp closure and lane closures on westbound I-670 and Holmes Street to install temporary concrete barriers. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Saturday, November 22 at 5 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The following ramp will be closed:

  • SB US-71 to WB I-670

Saturday, November 22 at 5 a.m. until Friday, December 19 at 5 p.m.

The following lanes will be closed:

  • WB I-70/I-670 Lane 1: starting from WB I-70 and Paseo Blvd to WB I-670 and Holmes St
  • Shoulder closures on SB U.S. 71 to WB I-670

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
