Kansas City area maintenance work for Nov. 3-7

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Nov. 3-7. All work is weather permitting.

JACKSON COUNTY

43rd St. over U.S. Highway 71: bridge closed from Monday, Nov. 3 until Friday, Nov. 7, from approximately 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for bridge joint work.

Route F between Hudson Rd. and SW 25th St.: flagging operations on Monday, Nov. 3, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Interstate 70 westbound ramp to Missouri Highway 291 northbound and MO-291 NB ramp to 39th St.: ramps closed on Thursday, Nov. 6, for pavement repair.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route D between U.S. Highway 50 and NE 75 Rd.: road closed on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Business Highway 50 in Knob Noster between Route D and Route J: flagging operation on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Route M between Route OO and NW 825th Rd.: road closed on Wednesday, Nov. 5 and Thursday, Nov. 6, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for culvert replacement work.

PETTIS COUNTY

US-50 (Broadway Blvd. in Sedalia) between U.S. Highway 65 and S. Marshall Ave.: intermittent lane closures from Monday, Nov. 3 until Friday, Nov. 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 127 between Route ZZ and 150th Rd.: road closed from Monday, Nov. 3 until Friday, Nov. 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for ditch work.

Missouri Highway 240 from Missouri Highway 41 north to MO-41 south: flagging operation on Monday, Nov. 3, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for shoulder repair.

Old Highway 40 between Route Y and 126th Rd.: flagging operation on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
