Various overnight ramp/lane closures on I-470 in Jackson County for roadway improvements

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct various overnight ramp closures on I-470 for roadway improvements. All work is weather permitting.

See below for traffic modifications:

Thurs., Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. until Fri., Oct. 31 at 6 a.m.

Fri., Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. until Sat., Nov. 1 at 6 a.m.

  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on WB I-470 under Raytown Road.
  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on EB I-470 near Hillcrest Road.
  • Raytown Road on-ramp to I-470 WB will be closed
  • I-470 WB to Blue Ridge Blvd. off-ramp will be closed
  • I-470 EB to Blue Ridge Blvd. off-ramp will be closed

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
