HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Adair County
Route O – October 27 – 28, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Evergreen Road to Burrows Road near Novinger between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route KK – October 20, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Second Street to Hedgepath Lane near Millard between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route KK – October 21 – 24, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Hedgepath Lane to Desoto Lane near Millard between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Audrain County
Route BB – October 22, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 657 to Route W between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Knox County
Route K – October 27 - 30, CLOSED for core drilling operations from Route V at Colony Cemetery continuing to just west of Middle Fabius River between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Lincoln County
Missouri Route 147 – October 27 – 29, CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Thornhill Cemetery Road to Frenchman Bluff Road between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Macon County
Missouri Route 3 – October 21, CLOSED for work being conducted by the City of Callao from Second Street to Eighth Street between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., the City of Callao will have a detour in place to direct traffic.
Monroe County
Route V – October 20, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 346 to Route FF between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route MM – October 21, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Missouri Route 15 to CR 239 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route MM – October 22, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 239 to CR 278 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route MM – October 23 – 24 & 27 - 29, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 278 to CR 284 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route MM – October 30, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 284 to CR 233 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Ralls County
U.S. Route 61 Northbound – October 20 - 24, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Missouri Route 19 to Route O beginning Monday, October 20th at 8:00 a.m. continuing to Friday, October 24th at 3:00 p.m.
Route J – October 20 – 21, LANE RESTRICTION for asphalt pavement repair operations from Route EE continuing south across to the end of the bridge between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.
Scotland County
Route M – October 30, CLOSED for railroad crossing maintenance from Walnut Street to Cemetery Road near Rutledge between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Shelby County
U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – October 20 – 24 & 27 - 31, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Lakenan to Monroe City between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.
