ST. LOUIS — Drivers who use westbound Interstate 44 under Interstate 270 will need to find alternate routes, as crews will close all westbound lanes of the interstate, as well as the ramp from northbound I-270 to westbound I-44 for bridge repairs.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will close all westbound lanes on I-44 between Exit 276 and the Meramec River to make these repairs, as well as the ramp from northbound I-270 to WB I-44 starting Friday, October 17 at 10 p.m. The ramp from southbound I-270 to westbound I-44 and the ramp from westbound Route 366 to northbound I-270 will remain open, but there will be no access to westbound I-44 from westbound Route 366. All lanes, including the northbound I-270 lane between the ramp for eastbound I-44 and the ramp for westbound I-44 (that has been closed since July) will reopen Monday, October 20 by 5 a.m.
