Where: Chestnut Expressway (Business Loop 44) CLOSED at the BNSF railroad between Kansas Expressway (Missouri Route 13) and Broadway Avenue in Springfield
When: Wednesday, October 22 – Thursday, October 30
What: Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway is doing work on the railroad at Chestnut Expressway (Business Loop 44)
Traffic Impacts:
- Chestnut Expressway (Business Loop 44) CLOSED at the BNSF railroad between Kansas Expressway (Missouri Route 13) and Broadway Avenue in Springfield
- Signed Detour includes: Kansas Expressway (Missouri Route 13), Kearney Street (Missouri Route 744) and Glenstone Avenue (Business 65)
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
