Dade County – A project to rehabilitate the U.S. Route 160 bridge over South Prong Sons Creek east of Lockwood is scheduled to begin the week of October 6, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
This is work that will be done:
- What: Drain installation, repair and resurfacing of bridge deck/driving surface, installation of guardrail, permanent lane striping
- When: Monday-Tuesday, October 6-7
- Traffic Impacts:
- All Route 160 lanes CLOSED for duration of work
- Drivers will be directed along a signed detour on Missouri routes 39, 96 & 97
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.

This work is part of a larger project that includes rehabilitation of additional bridges in Taney and McDonald counties.
