Various lane and ramp closures on I-470 EB in Lee's Summit for bridge maintenance work, Oct. 4-5

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting various ramp and lane closures on I-470 eastbound in Lee's Summit for bridge maintenance work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications.

Sat., October 4 at 6 a.m. until Sun., October 5 at 6 p.m.

  • Crews will CLOSE the on ramps on I-470 eastbound from Pryor Road and MO 350.
  • Crews will conduct double lane closures on eastbound I-470 at MO 350 to Main St. under I-470.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
