Vernon County – Incoming rain forecasted for this week will delay work on the pavement repair project at Loop 49/Vernon County Route K (Austin Boulevard) in Nevada, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Contractor crews are making pavement repairs at Loop 49/Route K and I-49 in southeastern Nevada. A concrete pour scheduled for Wednesday, September 24 at this location is expected to be delayed due to rain. As a result, the pour will be rescheduled for Tuesday, September 30.
The current traffic pattern of lane closures and traffic shifts will remain as they are, including the closure of the northbound on- and off ramps and the southbound off ramp at Exit 101. There is no signed detour and drivers should find alternative routes to avoid the work zone.
The contractor will continue working to make the site ready for the concrete pour until September 24 or the arrival of the expected rain, whichever comes first.
