Sikeston― Route 61 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform sidewalk improvements.
This section of roadway is located from Blanche Street to Old Cape Road in Jackson, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Oct. 6 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
