Lane and ramp closures on I-70 in Jackson County for pavement repair work, Sept. 23-25

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting various lane and ramp closures on I-70 for pavement repair operations. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications.

Tues., Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. until Wed., Sept. 24 at 6 a.m.

  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on I-70 EB just east of Blue Ridge Cutoff

Wed. Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. until Thurs., Sept. 25 at 6 a.m.

  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on I-70 EB at Brooklyn Road.
  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp at I-70 east to Prospect Avenue south.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
