THIS VERSION CORRECTS THE DETOUR ROUTE
Dade County – Contractor crews are set to CLOSE U.S. Route160 east of Lockwood between Pine Street and Dade County Road 81 from Monday, September 22 through Monday, October 6 to replace a culvert, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Traffic Impacts:
- Route 160 CLOSED between Pine Street in Lockwood and Dade County Road 81 beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, September 22 and reopening to traffic on Monday, October 6
- Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either side of the culvert, but will not be able to travel over the culvert
- Traffic will directed along a signed detour using Missouri routes 97, 96 & 39
- Drivers should seek alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the closure
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.
This work is part of a larger project to resurface and improve sections of Route 160 and Missouri Route 97 in Barton, Dade and Lawrence counties. For more information, go to the project website here.
