MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: New Weight Restriction Placed on Missouri Route 125 over Clayton Creek

in Taney County Near Bradleyville

Taney County – Signs indicating a weight limit of 20 tons for single-unit vehicles and 35 tons for all other vehicles have been installed for a bridge on Missouri Route 125 over Clayton Creek in Taney County near Bradleyville, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

The new load posting came about during the department’s regular bridge inspection process to analyze load limitations, which have been updated per Federal Highway Administration guidance.

The new weight limit will be in place until the bridge is replaced. At this time, no timeframe has been set for replacing the bridge.

Previously, there was no posted load limit on this bridge.
