Commission Awards Contracts for Projects in Northeast District

HANNIBAL – During its regular meeting on September 4, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the following contracts for various projects in the Northeast District:

  • A $1.5M contract was awarded to W. L. Miller Company, for a resurfacing project in Lewis County at the following locations:
    • Route C - from Missouri Route 6 in Ewing to U.S. Route 61 near La Grange
    • Route C/Business Route 61 - from U.S. Route 61 to Route B/Main Street in La Grange
  • A $1.3M contract was awarded to W. L. Miller Company for seal coat projects in Knox and Scotland counties at the following locations:
    • Missouri Route 15 - from the Iowa State line to U.S. Route 136 east junction in Memphis in Scotland County
    • Missouri Route 15 - from U.S. Route 136 west junction in Memphis in Scotland County to Missouri Route 6 north junction in Edina in Knox County
  • A $8.1M contract was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC for projects in Macon County at the following locations:
    • U.S. Route 36 (Eastbound and Westbound) - resurfacing and bridge rehabilitations from 0.1 mile east of Kellogg Avenue at Macon to 1.7 miles west of Routes C and O near Bevier
    • U.S. Route 63 - interchange improvements and bridge rehabilitation at U.S. Route 63/36 interchange and intersection safety improvements at U.S. Route 36 and Kellogg Avenue in Macon
  • A $749,178 contract was awarded to Ti-Zack Concrete, LLC, for a sidewalk (ADA) improvement project on Route V in Lewis County, from Olive Avenue to 292nd Avenue in Maywood
