SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Sept. 4. The contracts included construction of a roundabout, a bridge replacement, and replacement of a low water crossing.
- A $2,339,999 contract was awarded to RL Persons Construction, Inc., for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Routes Y and BB in Scott County.
- An $11,532,500 contract was awarded to West Plains Bridge & Grading, LLC, for a bridge replacement over the St. Francois River on Route 62 in Dunklin County.
- A $148,840 contract was awarded to H. R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, for the replacement of a low water crossing one mile south of Route 34 on Route KK in Wayne County.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
