St. Louis Work Zones September 4-10

ST. LOUIS — Crews with the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project will begin shifting the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 at Wentzville Parkway overnight starting at 9 p.m. Friday, September 5. All work is weather permitting.

The traffic shift will start on eastbound I-70 just west of Wentzville Parkway and continue through the curve on I-70 between Wentzville Parkway and Route Z. Barrier wall will be installed on the right shoulder of eastbound I-70. Lanes will be reduced to 11-foot width lanes as the interstate is realigned between Wentzville Parkway and Route Z. The lane shift will remain in place through 2026.

This work is part of the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project, which covers the eastern portion of I-70. It was awarded in November 2024, and construction will continue through 2028.

For real-time roadway weather conditions, go to http://traveler.modot.org/map. For real-time traffic, visit Welcome to Gateway Guide! | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org). All work is subject to change and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
