LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Sept. 2-5. No work is scheduled on Monday, Sept. 1 for Labor Day. All work is weather permitting.
CASS COUNTY
Route B bridge over South Grand River between Route T and S Cantrell Rd.: lane reduction with temporary traffic signal on Tue., Sept. 2 until Thu., Sept. 4., from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for bridge work.
JACKSON COUNTY
Missouri Highway 7 at Oakhaven Dr.: flagging operation on Thursday, Sept. 4, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Route BB between Missouri Business Highway 13 and Route F: flagging operation from Tuesday, Sept. 2 until Thursday, Sept. 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.
U.S. Highway 50 eastbound and westbound between Route FF and Business Highway 13: intermittent lane closures on Tuesday, Sept. 2, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pothole patching.
SALINE COUNTY
North Outer Road along Interstate 70 between Lafayette Co. line and end of state maintenance: full closure on Tuesday, Sept. 2, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement work.
Route K between I-70 and Pettis Co. line: flagging operation on Wednesday, Sept. 3, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for seal coating.
Route BB between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 20: flagging operations on Wednesday, Sept. 3 and Thursday, Sept. 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for seal coating.
Route T between U.S. Highway 65 and end of state maintenance: flagging operation on Thursday, Sept. 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
