HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Adair County
U.S. Route 63 Southbound – September 9 – 10, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Missouri Route 11 to Eagle Trail in Kirksville between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Route E – September 4, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Frontier Lane to Banner Lane between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route V – September 2 – 3, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Grade Lane to Aspen Lane near Gibbs between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Audrain County
Route T – September 3, CLOSED for patching operations from Route C to Route E near Centralia between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route RA – September 2, CLOSED for seal coat operations from CR 751 to Route ZZ in Montgomery County between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Lewis County
U.S. Route 61 Northbound – September 2 - 4, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route B to CR 115 between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Macon County
U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – September 3, LANE RESTRICTION for lighting/signal/sign work from eastbound ramp to 1.0 mile east of U.S. Route 36 and Missouri Route 3 interchange at Callao between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. An 11-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – September 2 – 4, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Business Route 36/Lariat Avenue to Nashville Avenue near Macon between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. A 15-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Route V – September 8 – 11, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Otter Avenue to Mahogany Street between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Montgomery County
Route CC – September 8 - 9, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 161 to Route E between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
Route JJ – September 10, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route F to Route E between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Route RA – September 2, CLOSED for seal coat operations from CR 751 in Audrain County to Route ZZ between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Route ZZ – September 3 – 4, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 19 to Route B between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
Pike County
Route UU – September 3, CLOSED for patching operations from Route VV to U.S. Route 61 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Randolph County
Route AA – September 3 - 4, CLOSED for patching operations from CR 2630 to Route B between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route AA – September 8 - 11, CLOSED for patching operations from Route A to CR 2630 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Scotland County
Route A – September 4, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route U in South Gorin to U.S. Route 136 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route C – September 3, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route B to Missouri Route 15 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route DD – September 2 - 3, CLOSED for patching & seal coat operations from CR 907 to Route C between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone. Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
